Sr Controls Technician (HVAC/Controls)

Location: King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, United States; field-based work conducted on-site at customer locations

Salary: $44.69–$55.61 per hour

What you will do

• Commission, program, configure graphics and communications links, test, troubleshoot, and service assigned HVAC controls projects.
• Perform point-to-point verification, validate sequences of operation, and complete job closeout documentation.
• Serve as the direct customer contact while diagnosing and repairing equipment and control systems.
• Coordinate with team leaders and customers on installation and repair requirements, materials, building layouts, and on-site work.
• Maintain current knowledge of Trane products and direct digital control system installation, operation, maintenance, and repair.
• Follow strict safety standards and remain flexible for overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or an accredited technical school completion certificate.
• At least 7 years of HVAC or controls experience; technical school or formal training is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers such as smartphones or iPads.
• Valid driver's license held for at least 12 months with an acceptable driving record.
• Previous experience with DDC control systems is preferred.
