Sales Engineer (HVAC)

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire, United States. Hybrid schedule: onsite Monday through Thursday; Friday work location is flexible based on work requirements.

Annual base salary: $72,928.33–$101,570.00. Compensation type: exception hourly.

What you will do

• Support the sales team as a technical subject matter expert throughout the sales process.
• Present the SaaS solution and answer technical questions from prospective customers and partners.
• Lead technical discussions from initial contact through deployment and support customer onboarding.
• Evaluate customer sites, define initial deployment scopes of work, and estimate energy savings.
• Build long-term customer relationships and nurture the sales pipeline.
• Monitor emerging markets, market shifts, new products, and competitive activity.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant HVAC industry experience in project management, estimating, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction, engineering technology, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of the Windows operating system and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with HVAC system operation and design, building automation systems, and/or temperature controls preferred.
• Experience with CAD programs and a basic understanding of electrical drawings and schematics preferred.
