Branch Manager

Location: Merced, California, USA; branch-based role

Salary: $88,833.33–$90,201.27 per year, depending on qualifications and experience; commission/bonus plan included.

Rexel USA distributes electrical, data communication, wireless communication, and related supplies through a nationwide network of more than 460 warehouse storefront locations.

What you will do

• Manage the branch's profitability, sales performance, P&L, budgets, assets, inventory, facility, and equipment.
• Lead, coach, train, and motivate branch personnel while addressing performance and personnel issues.
• Develop sales and operational initiatives, including customer digital adoption and market strategy.
• Maintain customer and vendor relationships and set high standards for customer service.
• Implement safety, security, facility inspection, and inventory control procedures.
• Support deliveries and branch activities such as counter sales, order fulfillment, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping when required.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in sales, operations, electrical distribution, or a similar B2B industry.
• 2+ years of leadership experience and the ability to develop and coach a team.
• Experience with inventory control, warehouse operations, sales strategy, Microsoft Office, and an ERP system such as Solar Eclipse.
• High school diploma or GED required; a four-year bachelor's degree is preferred.
• If deliveries are required: valid driver's license, minimum age of 21, acceptable motor vehicle record, and required medical certification.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, customer service, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Certification to operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Experience managing P&Ls.
• Four-year bachelor's degree.
