Counter Sales Representative (Electrical Distribution)

Location: Santa Rosa, California, United States; onsite at the PLATT branch

Salary: USD 19.97–24.96 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and other permitted considerations. Commission/Bonus Plan: Platt Branch Pool Plan.

What you will do

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service, processing purchases, orders, and returns.
• Support electrical distribution sales and develop new and existing customer relationships.
• Maintain showroom organization, cleanliness, and product availability through daily restocking.
• Assist with receiving, shipping, stocking, deliveries, and other warehouse functions.
• Support inside sales, maintain product knowledge, and escalate safety or customer satisfaction concerns.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience preferred.
• Previous branch experience and knowledge of electrical products, including lighting, switchgear, controls, and electrical commodities, preferred.
• Familiarity with automated order-entry systems and Windows-based software.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, written, verbal communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines, operate a computer keyboard, and perform physical warehouse and stocking tasks, including handling items up to 50 pounds occasionally.
