Senior IT Engineer, Audio Visual

Location: Foster City, California, United States; Workplace: On-site

Base salary: $151,000–$181,000 per year, plus potential RSUs, Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights, and sign-on bonus.

Company

Zoox is developing a fully autonomous vehicle fleet and the supporting mobility ecosystem, combining robotics, machine learning, and design.

What you will do

• Own the AV technology platform, including Zoom, Zoom Rooms, video conferencing hardware, and digital signage.
• Drive the roadmap for conferencing, digital signage, and AV infrastructure.
• Coordinate external vendors on AV system installation, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Provide Tier 2/3 troubleshooting for complex AV, conferencing, and meeting-room issues.
• Support company-wide events and back up IT Executive Services with meeting logistics, Zoom, and Google Calendar support.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in a similar audio visual or IT engineering role, including at least 1 year leading a team.
• Strong IT foundation, including networking concepts and enterprise Windows/macOS troubleshooting.
• Experience administering Zoom, Zoom Rooms, and related Neat or Logitech conferencing hardware.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience providing white-glove executive support.

Nice to have

• AVIXA CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I certification.
• Experience configuring Extron, Crestron, Q-SYS, or similar room-control systems.
• Project or program management experience.
