Sr. Accountant

Salary: $80,000–$95,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage accounting close activities, including monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review and approve journal entries and supporting documentation for assigned accounting areas.
• Review and approve account reconciliations, investigate reconciling differences, and drive resolution.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, US GAAP, and local statutory requirements.
• Interpret accounting results and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Identify process improvements and maintain accounting process documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting controls.
• Experience with functional accounting areas such as fixed assets, prepaids, intercompany accounting, payroll, taxes, or leases.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and deadline-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power Platform.
• Experience with OneStream Software or multiple-currency accounting.
