Sr. Accountant

Base compensation: $95,000–$105,000 per year

What you will do

• Support assigned areas of the monthly financial close process and meet corresponding deadlines.
• Prepare financial statement flux analyses, journal entries, and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Research accounting pronouncements and prepare documentation for external auditors.
• Maintain internal controls over accounting transaction processing and reporting.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, IT, and Operations on ERP integrations, process improvements, and data integrity initiatives.
• Use advanced Excel functions and Power Query to analyze large datasets and support special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Solid knowledge of accounting and GAAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including functions such as XLOOKUP, Power Query, or Power Pivot.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with a high level of accuracy and discretion.
• Excellent IT skills and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Nice to have

• CPA certification in progress or active.
• Big Four or regional audit and assurance experience, or a combination of public and private accounting experience.
• Experience with ERP implementation, optimization, or system conversion projects; NetSuite experience is preferred.
