Sr. Accountant

Location: Kirkland, Washington, United States

Salary: $110,000–$140,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day accounting activities and the month-end close process.
• Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, prepare journal vouchers, and provide timely financial reporting.
• Develop accounting solutions for new or unusual transactions in accordance with corporate policies and US GAAP.
• Review monthly financial results and perform variance analysis against forecasts, goals, and prior-year results.
• Review balance sheet accounts, resolve outstanding issues, and support Accounts Payable.
• Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and provide ad hoc finance support.

Requirements

• BS or BA degree in accounting or a related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, including Big Four experience.
• Knowledge of US GAAP accounting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Intermediate Excel knowledge.
• Ability to multitask, work independently with minimal supervision, and solve operational accounting problems.
