What you will do
- Develop electromechanical and hydromechanical actuation design solutions for commercial and defense aircraft flight control and utility applications, including motor control electronics units.
- Develop project reliability and safety plans and interpret customer requirements and system development standards such as ARP4754 and ARP4761.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative reliability predictions, reliability modeling, and Mean Time Between Failure analysis for components and systems using Windchill and MIL-HDBK-217.
- Conduct safety, hazard, common mode, fault tree, FMEA, FMECA, and intrinsic hazard analyses.
- Support mechanical and electronic design reviews, system architecture, certification activities, and requirements compliance.
- Prepare reliability and safety reports and collaborate with internal project teams and customer technical experts on redundancy, built-in test, availability, and maintenance requirements.
Requirements
- Must be a US citizen.
- Bachelorβs degree in engineering or a related field.
- 7β10 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced knowledge of reliability and safety principles and methodologies for complex components and integrated systems.
- Experience using Windchill for reliability and safety modeling of complex electromechanical systems.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, written, and verbal communication skills.
