Salary: $112,340–$159,468 USD per year

What you will do
- Perform system-level reliability analyses, including fault tree analysis, reliability block diagrams, and FMEA/FMECA.
- Develop reliability predictions using multiple methodologies, including electronics reliability prediction.
- Support engineering trade studies and maintain spaceflight component reliability data.
- Identify components with significant impact on safety and mission success.
- Assist with root cause analysis, failure investigations, and risk characterization.
Requirements
- B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or materials engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related technical discipline.
- Ability to travel up to 20% and work evenings or weekends during critical mission milestones.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.
- Must be a U.S. person under applicable export-control regulations or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical partners and collaborate with experts across engineering disciplines.
Nice to have
- Experience developing reliability models for spacecraft, launch sites, or launch vehicles.
- Experience with human-rated and safety-critical systems, FRACAS, and reliability or life-test design.
- Experience with Weibull analysis, reliability growth modeling, probabilistic risk analysis, FMECA, or fault tree analysis.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, fluid schematics, and electrical circuit diagrams.
