Consulting Director - Medical Capital Equipment

Location: Virtual Office

Salary: $117,600–$206,000 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead complex, cross-functional consulting engagements for strategic medical capital equipment planning.
• Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, resources, deliverables, governance, quality standards, and risks.
• Analyze market insights, utilization trends, and capital equipment data to develop strategic recommendations and business cases.
• Present findings and facilitate meetings and workshops with CFOs, COOs, service line leaders, and clinical executives.
• Build trusted client relationships, mentor consulting team members, and lead change management for sustainable adoption.
• Support business development, proposal development, thought leadership, and continuous improvement of consulting methodologies and tools.

Requirements

• Relevant degree preferred.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience, including experience with medical capital equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead large, complex consulting projects.
• Strong project management, strategic planning, organizational, presentation, facilitation, and executive communication skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior client leaders.
• Ability to travel regularly and respond quickly to client needs and timetables.

Nice to have

• Clinical and data analytics experience in the healthcare industry.
• Knowledge of healthcare capital purchasing decisions and capital planning processes.
