Safety Certifiable Product Manager-C5ISR Modular Solutions-Onsite Position

Location: Onsite in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 119,500–159,300 annually, plus bonus opportunity.

What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle and commercial success of embedded product lines, from market research and design through launch, growth, enhancement, and sunset.
• Define differentiated product strategies, feature sets, technical specifications, pricing models, Design to Cost targets, and business cases with ROI projections.
• Work with engineering, CTO, marketing, sales, business development, bids, and contracts teams to develop solutions and grow product-line revenue.
• Provide systems analysis, technical input, and subject matter expertise for customer proposals, complex bids, presentations, and pre-sales activities.
• Monitor forecasts, design wins, margins, pricing, development costs, time to market, and sustaining activities.
• Build partner relationships, support cooperative product development and marketing, and participate in industry working groups and standards evolution.

Requirements

• Senior-level product line management experience with safe and secure embedded processing solutions, including functional safety or DAL certifiability.
• At least 7 years of experience in product management, engineering management, or deeply technical product marketing.
• Engineering and business education, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with embedded hardware and software architectures, defense technical standards, SOSA, VITA, and VPX systems design.
• Knowledge of embedded processors, FPGA/GPU processing, Ethernet networking, VME/VPX/XMC form factors, Embedded Linux, real-time operating systems, cryptography, and embedded system protection.
• Willingness to travel frequently for customers, sales and business development, trade shows, and industry working groups.
