QNX Senior Technical Product Manager (Industrial Automation & Robotics)

Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Base salary: CAD 108,750–158,750 per year

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of multi-component QNX solutions, from strategic planning through delivery and continuous improvement.
• Define integration strategies that turn individual embedded software components into cohesive offerings.
• Partner with engineering and ecosystem organizations to accelerate solution delivery for new verticals.
• Lead go-to-market strategies for new solution launches and align them with the product roadmap and business objectives.
• Represent the customer perspective through strategic-account feedback, market research, competitive intelligence, industry events, and executive engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Significant product management experience in industrial automation, robotics, IoT, or embedded systems.
• Experience defining and prioritizing product requirements across customer impact, business viability, and technical feasibility.
• Cross-functional understanding of engineering, product strategy, finance, and marketing.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with experience influencing stakeholders at all levels.

Nice to have

• Experience with ecosystem partnerships or build-versus-buy decisions.
• Familiarity with industrial connectivity standards such as OPC UA, Modbus, and PROFINET.
• Understanding of embedded regulatory compliance, including IEC 61508 functional safety and IEC 62443 security standards.
