Technical Product Specialist (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Salary: $82,100–$109,500 CAD annually, plus bonus opportunity

What you will do

• Own and manage the C5ISR sales, customer demo, and loaner equipment pool.
• Track, configure, maintain, refresh, ship, and manage the lifecycle of demonstration hardware and software assets.
• Design, assemble, configure, and validate customer demonstration systems.
• Perform board-level hardware integration, system bring-up, operating system and middleware installation, and application configuration.
• Support technical sales pursuits, product showcases, trade shows, and customer presentations with customized demos and technical documentation.
• Conduct technical evaluations, benchmarking, performance testing, troubleshooting, and product improvement feedback with product, engineering, sales, marketing, and third-party partner teams.

Requirements

• Relevant hardware or software engineering degree, or equivalent industry experience.
• 4+ years of experience in defense, aerospace, or mission-critical systems.
• Expert working knowledge of Linux and strong experience with embedded systems and board support package environments.
• Hands-on experience with VPX hardware, board bring-up, system integration, troubleshooting, networking, embedded software deployment, and system testing.
• Experience with RTOS environments such as VxWorks.
• Strong organizational, written, verbal communication, technical presentation, and customer documentation skills.
