Product Owner Data (Fintech)

What you will do

• Maintain the data portfolio roadmap, backlog, delivery schedule, and milestone tracking.
• Plan capacity, assess resource needs, and optimize allocation across initiatives.
• Translate business priorities into execution plans with architects and data engineers.
• Identify and manage risks, interdependencies, compliance requirements, and structural blockers.
• Ensure data products meet documentation, quality, and operational-readiness standards.
• Coordinate technical teams and business units, report on KPIs, and mentor junior colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in project management, product operations, or digital transformation.
• Experience managing complex, multidisciplinary data or technology initiatives from concept through delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Fluent English required, including the ability to create requirements, documentation, and reports.
• Working knowledge of Big Data technologies, Microsoft Azure, Power BI, Excel, Jira, and Confluence.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as PMP, SAFe, Scrum Master, or Product Owner.
• Prior experience in payments or the fintech industry.
