Mobile App Testing Engineer (Smart Home)

What you will do

• Perform manual and automated testing of mobile apps that control smart home and networking products.
• Develop test cases, establish testing environments, and execute test plans.
• Validate device-to-app and app-to-cloud interactions.
• Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to verify bug fixes and firmware updates.
• Conduct market research and competitor comparisons to suggest product improvements.
• Document test cases, test results, and quality reports.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience in mobile application testing.
• Knowledge of mobile application testing processes, methods, development environments, and common testing tools.
• Understanding of mobile app UI/UX and the ability to analyze issues from a user perspective.
• Ability to write and execute test cases.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Experience with routing and switching products or smart home devices.
• Basic knowledge of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, MQTT, or Matter.
• Python programming skills.
