Product Engineering Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: US-SC-Summerville (SAS); onsite at the Summerville manufacturing facility

Salary: $131,000–$174,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead product engineering activities across multiple products or complex product lines throughout the full product lifecycle.
• Set departmental objectives, allocate resources, and oversee strategic and tactical execution.
• Define product vision, roadmaps, customer requirements, and lifecycle plans aligned with business and market objectives.
• Coordinate delivery with design, manufacturing, quality, test, sales, marketing, and external partners.
• Oversee beta, pilot, validation, and product-readiness activities.
• Drive cost control, profitability, process improvement, and portfolio optimization.

Requirements

• US citizenship is required due to Department of Defense requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearances and approvals is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience leading product engineering teams in a manufacturing or product-focused engineering environment.
• Experience with product strategy, roadmaps, lifecycle planning, cross-functional delivery, cost management, and profitability analysis.
• Advanced leadership, communication, decision-making, and people-development skills.
