Warehouse Operations Leader I (Supply Chain)

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day operations for a team or group of teams within a warehouse facility.
• Train, coach, and develop Team Leaders while monitoring retention, injury rates, feedback, and performance.
• Set facility goals and KPIs, determine staffing levels, and communicate tactical and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, OSHA, employment laws, sanitation standards, safety requirements, and HACCP protocols.
• Identify process improvements, address operational risks, and develop plans to meet customer service requirements.
• Support divisional initiatives and make or recommend employment-related decisions, including hiring, promotion, discipline, and recognition.

Requirements

• 4+ years of related industry experience.
• 3+ years of management experience with extensive expertise in distribution and logistics operations.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Advanced knowledge of compliance standards, including OSHA, EEOC, and employment laws.
• Advanced communication, analytical, project management, negotiation, influencing, multitasking, and presentation skills.
• Advanced proficiency with software systems for spreadsheets, charts, graphs, presentations, and financial reporting; experience with process improvement initiatives.
