Product Owner I

What you will do

• Own the vision, product definition, and backlog for an enterprise backend platform.
• Prioritize development work based on business value, risk, customer needs, and strategic objectives.
• Translate client requirements and business goals into clear product direction, business requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with Scrum Masters and delivery teams to support execution and release objectives.
• Review and accept completed product increments and communicate business value, release outcomes, and updates to stakeholders.
• Support Change@hirify.global processes, Change Navigator administration, project lifecycle activities, and risk management engagement.

Requirements

• Experience serving as a Product Owner in an Agile environment.
• Strong business analysis skills, including requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder alignment.
• Technical aptitude with backend platforms, enterprise systems, or complex data-driven solutions.
• Experience managing multiple products, initiatives, or concurrent workstreams.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Change Navigator, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s degree and typically 2+ years of relevant professional experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with API integrations, batch file ingestion, and Kafka data services.
• Knowledge of customer data management and data quality practices.
• Experience presenting technical requirements to business leaders and technology design and development teams.
• Experience supporting multiple Agile teams simultaneously.
