What you will do

• Own the vision, roadmap, and backlog for a large product or set of products.
• Represent customer and stakeholder needs, make product decisions, and communicate product priorities to delivery teams.
• Write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and groom backlogs in partnership with agile teams.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to communicate progress and participate in agile ceremonies.
• Align customer journeys and dependent backlogs across teams and with other Product Owners.
• Apply design thinking, analytics, and outcome-focused methods to inform product design and delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of business, analytical, technical, or product experience; alternatively, 10 years of combined higher education and work experience including 6 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands, make independent decisions, and influence outcomes through collaboration.
• Knowledge of product design and development best practices, Agile, and Lean principles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow risk, regulatory, and internal control standards and escalate risk-related issues when needed.
• Specific subject matter expertise as required by the assigned product.

Nice to have

• Experience partnering with user experience teams on product design.
• Experience developing or managing digital capabilities.
• Understanding of design thinking principles.
