Technical PM (Guidewire)

Location: New York, NY, United States; hybrid work from the company's physical office. Flexibility to travel, including some overnight travel, is required.

What you will do

• Maintain high availability, reliability, and stability for business applications built on Guidewire Cloud.
• Lead system upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and hands-on technical execution.
• Manage internal and external support teams, technology vendors, service providers, and implementation partners.
• Develop technology roadmaps, negotiate contracts, evaluate vendor performance, and oversee service-level agreements.
• Partner with cybersecurity teams to support security and regulatory compliance.
• Lead technology risk assessments, disaster recovery planning, business continuity readiness, and technical guidance for business units.

Requirements

• 15 years of relevant experience in application support and/or operations, including recent technical leadership and management experience.
• Strong technical depth and strategic thinking, including programming experience with Gosu, Java, and SQL.
• Ability to balance innovation with operational stability and lead both strategy and hands-on execution.
• Strong communication, organization, prioritization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work from the company's physical office location on a hybrid basis.
• Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight travel.

Nice to have

• BA or BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems.
• Insurance industry experience with Guidewire Policy Center, Claim Center, and Billing Center.
• Experience with Azure and AWS cloud environments.
