Project Specialist (Asset Management)

Location: Field-based work at active construction sites

What you will do

• Oversee asset vendors during equipment delivery, assembly, commissioning, and operations.
• Test, connect, and disconnect temporary 15 kV and 480 V cabling for switchgears, transformers, and generators.
• Install natural gas hoses and 2–12 inch gas connections, while monitoring generator manifold flow, temperature, and pressure.
• Plan commissioning layouts, coordinate equipment and construction personnel, and document asset progression.
• Troubleshoot electrical, gas, and mechanical issues and help vendors resolve obstacles efficiently.
• Train commissioning and maintenance technicians and support safety, environmental compliance, and incident investigations.

Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years of related experience, preferably in oil and gas rental or electrical industries.
• Understanding of electronics, electrical equipment, and electrical safety.
• High school diploma, skilled labor certificate, or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, safe company-vehicle operation, and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work at heights and in extreme temperatures, wind, and precipitation, including extended periods on foot.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds up to 10 times per shift and use ladders and safety harnesses correctly.

Nice to have

• Experience with synchronous condensers (SynCon).
