Technical PM / Senior Technical Consultant (Remote)

Location: Fully remote within the United States

Salary: $175,000–$185,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end technical delivery for the Department of Veterans Affairs Data Modernization initiative.
• Coordinate workspace provisioning, intake workflows, user personas, access configurations, and onboarding timelines.
• Manage Azure Commercial and Azure Government platform initiatives covering infrastructure, networking, identity, data services, and integrations.
• Coordinate engineers, architects, security teams, DevSecOps specialists, Databricks SMEs, and customer enablement teams.
• Drive Agile/SAFe planning, technical roadmaps, dependency management, risk tracking, milestones, and delivery reporting.
• Oversee operational readiness, automation, Terraform-based infrastructure, CI/CD, monitoring, security compliance, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Must be located within the United States and able to obtain and maintain suitability/Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of experience in project management, engineering, or related information technology roles.
• Experience with technical project management, cloud platform coordination, or delivery management for engineering or data teams.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including Azure Commercial, Azure Government, networking, compute, storage, identity, and access management.
• Experience with Databricks, data lake architectures, workspace provisioning, technical requirements, and cross-functional delivery.

Nice to have

• ITIL, Scrum Product Owner, Certified ScrumMaster, PMP, or PMP-ACP certification.
• Experience with AWS, Scrum, Kanban, Jira, ServiceNow, or SharePoint.
• Experience with Azure data platforms, Service Principals, RBAC, automated workspace creation, or cloud infrastructure automation.
• Experience in federal, healthcare, regulated-data, or multi-environment deployment contexts.
• Knowledge of data ingestion workflows and Security Impact Analysis processes.
