IAM Technical Project Manager

Location: United States

Base salary: $88,200–$163,800 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Define project charters, scope, schedules, resource plans, cost estimates, success criteria, and KPIs for IAM initiatives.
• Lead governance boards, steering committee reviews, stakeholder communications, dependency management, and escalations.
• Oversee technical delivery for IAM platform implementations and migrations using platforms such as Okta, CyberArk, and Saviynt.
• Manage project risks, change plans, cutovers, rollbacks, contingencies, and post-implementation reviews.
• Coordinate training, documentation, operational runbooks, knowledge transfer, and support-team readiness.
• Track schedule, budget, scope, and value-realization metrics while driving continuous improvements in IAM delivery.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of IAM platforms and architectures, including Okta, Active Directory, PAM, IGA, and identity governance and compliance controls.
• Advanced project management skills covering planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical architecture for business and technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of project or program management experience, including 5+ years managing IAM, security, or enterprise IT projects.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise IAM platforms and a record of leading complex, multi-team initiatives and platform migrations.

Nice to have

• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and SAFe or Agile facilitation.
• Knowledge of NIST, CIS, SOC 2, and zero-trust frameworks.
