Manufacturing Engineer

Location: East Farmingdale, New York, United States; onsite machine shop support required

Salary: $83,800–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Support machine shop production and manufacturing personnel with minimal direction.
• Generate detailed manufacturing methods, operation sheets, and operation sketches.
• Design tooling and fixtures for manufacturing and quality requirements.
• Maintain manufacturing project documentation.
• Interact with internal manufacturing personnel and vendors during tool and fixture fabrication.
• Support CNC programming methods and the Manufacturing Engineering Department.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Minimum associate degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Technology, or equivalent related experience.
• Minimum five years of manufacturing engineering experience, including manufacturing methods, tool and fixture design, and budget and cost analysis.
• Knowledge of machine shop practices, raw materials, machinability, feeds and speeds, and computer-controlled machine tools.
• Ability to generate CAD drawings and analyze equipment or tooling problems.
• Working knowledge of Mastercam CAD/CAM software version 8.xx or greater.
