Manufacturing Engineer Staff (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Hauppauge, New York, United States

Salary: $83,800–$100,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and implement manufacturing methods, process flows, and operational sequences.
• Design tooling and fixtures for production build processes.
• Coordinate new product releases with design engineering and support transitions into manufacturing.
• Estimate manufacturing costs, establish time standards, and recommend tooling and process improvements.
• Create and maintain manufacturing work instructions and standard procedures.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing engineering, production, procurement, quality, and inspection teams while supporting lean, 5S, and EHS initiatives.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with CAD tools, including SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of basic electronic and mechanical assembly principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work onsite in Hauppauge, New York.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of probability, geometry, trigonometry, and related statistical or mathematical concepts.
• Familiarity with manufacturing standards and process documentation.
• Experience with an ERP system.
• Spanish language skills.
