Manufacturing Engineering Specialist

Salary: $67,000–$90,000 per year

Engineered Pump Division provides mission-critical pumps, composite components, overhaul, upgrades, and field services for U.S. Navy ships and submarines.

What you will do

• Provide technical, supplier, and project management support for manufactured product orders.
• Track orders, schedules, forecasts, material acquisition, and supplier priorities from project kickoff through delivery.
• Apply manufacturing and process engineering principles to improve supplier performance, product quality, reliability, and value.
• Review purchase orders, project documentation, manufacturing and test records, and production methods for accuracy and completeness.
• Investigate process and schedule deviations and support resolution of product nonconformances and manufacturing failures.
• Advise on manufacturing area layouts, tooling, fixtures, and material flow while coordinating with engineering, production, and suppliers.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant experience in manufacturing fields.
• Three or more years of related technical manufacturing experience.
• Experience in highly complex, highly regulated, low-volume manufacturing environments.
• Experience with supply chain management, process improvement, problem solving, and error prevention.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project, plus strong organizational, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
