Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Naperville, Illinois, United States; onsite warehouse role

Salary: $52,000–$64,000 per year for Illinois, depending on qualifications and experience.

What you will do

• Lead and supervise warehouse employees to achieve accurate, productive, and safe operations.
• Coordinate receiving, shipping, picking, packing, stocking, staging, and customer order fulfillment.
• Train employees, participate in hiring, assign daily work, and manage schedules and priorities.
• Ensure safe operation of material-handling equipment and maintain warehouse security.
• Verify inbound and outbound shipments, complete records, and report accurate operational data.
• Use WMS metrics and Lean process-flow methods to improve warehouse efficiency; make deliveries or support branch functions when required.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of warehouse experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; at least 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to use Excel, Outlook, Word, warehouse equipment, and warehouse procedures.
• Knowledge of Lean and process-flow layout in warehouses, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment certification preferred.
• If deliveries are required: valid driver’s license, minimum age of 21, compliant motor vehicle record, and required medical certification.
