Area Manager (Warehouse Operations)

Location: Carneys Point, New Jersey, United States; onsite night-shift warehouse role

Salary: $83,000–$93,000 USD base salary annually; bonus and equity may be available for eligible roles.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and motivate associates and leads across daily returns warehouse operations.
• Oversee fulfillment center activities, productivity requirements, business objectives, and customer experience.
• Maintain safety programs, OSHA compliance, food safety, and general regulatory standards.
• Identify and execute process improvements using Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Collaborate with other Area Managers to balance labor and optimize shift performance.
• Review forecasts, track KPIs, and develop employees to meet production targets.

Requirements

• 2+ years of leadership experience in a warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, General Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and results-driven performance.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk for shifts of up to 12 hours, and frequently climb stairs, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.

• Experience managing 20+ hourly employees.
• Experience applying Lean and Six Sigma principles to process improvement.
• Experience in retail, logistics, e-commerce, manufacturing, or distribution.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
