Senior Technical Writer

What you will do

• Write and maintain technical documentation for Scaleout, Scaleup, and Orchestration products.
• Define documentation standards, templates, and style guidelines with engineering and product teams.
• Create security response documents, incident communications, remediation guidance, and runbooks.
• Maintain knowledge-base and self-service content, identifying gaps and addressing recurring support questions.
• Write release notes and document product changes, APIs, integrations, and architecture.
• Review customer-facing presentations, UI copy, in-app messaging, email templates, and other external content for clarity, consistency, grammar, and technical accuracy.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in technical writing, preferably for B2B SaaS, infrastructure, or security products.
• Ability to write clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience creating incident reports, runbooks, or security-related documentation.
• Strong editorial judgment and attention to ambiguity, inconsistency, grammar, and technical accuracy.
• Ability to learn complex technical products quickly and collaborate with engineering and product teams.
• Comfort working as the sole writer across multiple product lines.

Nice to have

• Experience with docs-as-code workflows, Git, Markdown, and static site generators.
• Familiarity with orchestration platforms, infrastructure automation, or cloud-native tooling.
• Cybersecurity background or experience writing for security-focused products.
• Experience building a documentation practice from scratch or scaling a small content team.
• Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, or ReadMe.
