What you will do

• Research and write long-form technical content on AI models, inference, compute, chips, and AI infrastructure.
• Develop original points of view on major technical developments in the AI industry.
• Collaborate with engineers and leadership to produce technical analysis, product launch content, and customer stories.
• Create technical briefs, charts, diagrams, and benchmarks to support written arguments.
• Write for various formats and audiences including social channels like X.
• Help establish a standard for technical writing across the company.

Requirements

• On-site presence in San Jose required.
• Exceptional writing skills explaining complex technical subjects.
• Experience producing substantive long-form technical writing or analysis.
• Strong research skills and ability to develop original technical arguments.
• Technical aptitude in AI models, inference, accelerators, distributed systems, and AI infrastructure.
• Ability to interview engineers and subject matter experts effectively.

Nice to have

• Technical background in computer science, electrical engineering, machine learning, or related fields.
• Experience writing about AI infrastructure components like GPUs, ASICs, datacenters, and networking.
• Experience working closely with product and engineering teams on technical launches.
• Building an audience for technical ideas through blogs, newsletters, or social media.
