Customer Service Sales Specialist I (Telecommunications)

Location: Juneau, Alaska, United States; onsite retail store position

Company

hirify.global provides communication and technology services to remote communities and consumer and business markets across Alaska and the United States.

What you will do

• Advise customers on hirify.global products, service plans, pricing, promotions, devices, and accessories.
• Provide professional customer service, handle inquiries and complaints, and resolve basic account issues.
• Acquire, retain, upsell, and cross-sell customers across applicable product lines.
• Meet sales goals and performance metrics while creating a high-quality customer experience.
• Use technology-based applications to provision services, troubleshoot issues, and maintain customer records.
• Process and reconcile cash transactions and coordinate with other service departments when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of general work experience; relevant education or experience may substitute year for year.
• Excellent command of English and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use computers, telecommunications applications, databases, MS Office, keyboards, and 10-key calculators.
• Ability to work rotating schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime, on-call periods, and occasional work at other hirify.global locations.
• Reliable transportation may be required for occasional travel between retail stores, offices, and worksites.

• Previous customer service or sales experience.
• Telecommunications experience.
• Telecom industry or job-specific certifications.
