Customer Credit Representative

What you will do

• Respond to inbound residential customer calls about billing, collections, payment agreements, electric choice, account maintenance, and outages.
• Analyze customer inquiries and provide accurate, timely, and professional service.
• Explain relevant company offerings and direct calls to other work groups when appropriate.
• Verify and update customer account information, including names, addresses, and phone numbers.
• Operate customer service systems while protecting confidential customer data.
• Meet performance metrics, follow established procedures, and complete required job-related training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer, keyboarding, and math skills.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to receive direction, apply feedback, use judgment, and take appropriate action.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as required.
• Six months of experience as a Customer Credit Representative with all performance metrics met is required for full qualification.
