Compensation Specialist

Location: Parsippany, New Jersey, United States (hybrid)

Salary: $84,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Administer compensation programs for U.S. and international field locations in line with corporate policies.
• Create job descriptions, conduct job evaluations, determine U.S. FLSA exemption status, and recommend compensation grades.
• Analyze compensation survey data, market pricing, salary ranges, merit budgets, and internal equity.
• Support short-term incentive plans, forfeiture analyses, bonus participation audits, and executive compensation projects.
• Conduct compensation data audits and support Workday compensation plan configuration and maintenance.
• Ensure compensation programs comply with applicable federal, state, and international laws.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of compensation experience in a multinational environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Knowledge of compensation practices, processes, market pricing, and reporting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally and work with complex, high-volume data.
• Quality orientation, attention to detail, and ability to build collaborative relationships.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday Compensation.
• Completion of or progress toward Certified Compensation Professional certification.
