Clinical Trainer (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the United States; employees cannot be hired from U.S. territories or Alaska, Hawaii, California, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, New York, Connecticut, Vermont, Pennsylvania, or Maine. A dedicated interruption-free home office and approved high-speed wired internet are required.

Salary: $88,488–$111,943 USD target hiring range; maximum salary $124,736 USD.

What you will do

• Develop and administer large-scale clinical learning programs in in-person, virtual, blended, and distance-learning environments.
• Assess training needs with clinical leaders and stakeholders, then develop curricula aligned with business goals.
• Deliver orientation and continuing education programs for new and existing clinical staff.
• Partner with subject matter experts and an Instructional Designer to create digital courses, instructor guides, training materials, and learning media.
• Facilitate workshops, exercises, webinars, and scenario-based training using adult learning principles.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance tracking to improve learning programs.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a health-related field.
• 5+ years of experience in clinical training, clinical education, or healthcare staff development.
• Knowledge of clinical workflows, care management, utilization management, healthcare operations, clinical systems, and healthcare compliance.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, communication, instructional design, and project management skills.
• Home office must use non-cellular high-speed internet with at least 30 Mbps download, 5 Mbps upload, and latency below 80 ms; hotspots, satellite, and wireless internet are not allowed.

Nice to have

• Experience with managed care, provider networks, or population health training.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, NCQA, URAC, and other healthcare accreditation standards.
• Experience with virtual and blended learning models.
