Assistant Unit Controller - On and Off Highway Vehicles (Manufacturing)

Location: Hybrid role based in Arlington Heights, Illinois or Portland, Oregon, United States

Salary: $108,900–$134,050 per year plus bonus

Industrial division supplying components and subsystems for on- and off-highway vehicles, including trucks, buses, construction and agricultural vehicles, material-handling equipment, wheelchairs, and scooters.

What you will do

• Support accounting, financial planning, analysis, and timely reporting of actual business results.
• Own periodic management reporting, analysis packages, reporting metrics, and monthly corporate close submissions.
• Lead the financial close process and prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Drive balance sheet and P&L forecasting while supporting forecast implementation across the business unit.
• Manage financial, internal, and external audits, including quarterly SOX control reviews and compliance testing.
• Analyze transactions and financial performance, manage elements of Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Make to Order processes, and support strategic planning and payroll activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Lead accounting or finance experience in manufacturing, preferably involving on-highway or off-highway markets.
• University graduation or professional certification; CPA is preferred.
• Experience with inter-company trading is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, leadership, and staff-development skills.
• Ability to work in the stated hybrid locations in Arlington Heights, Illinois, or Portland, Oregon.
