Finance Analyst Lead (Manufacturing)

Location: Appleton, Wisconsin, United States; ability to travel 10% required.

Salary: $92,600–$154,400 annually across U.S. locations.

What you will do

• Own accounting, financial analysis, reporting, forecasting support, reconciliations, journal entries, and internal-control activities.
• Lead and develop one Finance Analyst through prioritization, coaching, work review, and cross-training.
• Manage warranty finance and accounting, including reserve analysis, reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, and controls.
• Partner with Digital Technology on actual results, forecasts, budgets, spending analysis, accruals, allocations, and intercompany activity.
• Own backlog actual reporting and assigned lease accounting processes, including data maintenance, administration, reconciliations, reporting, and controls.
• Drive process improvements using CIMS tools and support internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Six or more years of relevant accounting, finance, or treasury experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles, journal entries, reconciliations, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Ability to independently own complex financial processes while balancing hands-on execution and leadership responsibilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and business-partnership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Active CPA, CPA candidacy, CMA, MBA, or another relevant advanced qualification.
• Experience with warranty, lease, reserve, or other complex accounting processes.
• Experience in manufacturing or a similarly complex operating environment.
• Experience implementing process improvements and leveraging technology for efficiency.
• Prior formal people-leadership experience.
