Financial Analyst II

Location: On-site in Tyler, Texas, five days per week

Annual base salary: $66,816.66–$93,309.99

What you will do

• Support monthly closing, financial analysis, journal entries, and general ledger activities.
• Prepare, record, analyze, and report accounting transactions in accordance with GAAP, SOX, and company policies.
• Review financial variances, identify causes, and support corrective actions and operational excellence initiatives.
• Support annual budgeting, standard costing, strategic reviews, monthly and quarterly forecasting, and physical inventory processes.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and develop financial forecasts and budgets with operations.
• Deliver management reports and complete special projects and ad hoc financial requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–4 years of experience in general accounting, finance, or cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of GAAP and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Oracle or an equivalent ERP or manufacturing application.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple deliverables, solve problems, maintain detail orientation, and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to explain financial information to non-financial audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with OneStream, Tableau, or Dataiku.
