Supplier Engineer - Validation (Medtech)

What you will do

• Manage Component Validation Plans, validation timelines, milestones, protocols, testing coordination, and reports.
• Coordinate supplier validation activities through automated assembly lines in Malaysia.
• Collaborate with Quality, Automation, Sourcing, and other teams to align validation with project timelines and quality requirements.
• Investigate component performance and integration issues, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Communicate with suppliers about manufacturing processes and drive improvements in component quality and manufacturability.
• Provide stakeholders with updates on validation progress, risks, and mitigation plans while maintaining compliant documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Plastics, or Biomedical Engineering.
• 2–4 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in manufacturing, validation, or supplier-facing roles.
• Familiarity with component validation and qualification processes.
• Strong communication, collaboration, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally; approximately 10% travel is typical.

Nice to have

• Experience with injection molding, tooling, or automation systems.
• Experience with statistical tools such as Minitab or JMP.
• Experience with project tracking tools and Power BI.
