Finance Manager – Contract Manufacturing

Location: Hybrid role based in Acton, Massachusetts, with required on-site work at an hirify.global office.

Annual base salary: $101,200–$151,750 for U.S.-based positions; incentive compensation may also apply.

hirify.global is a medical device company developing the Omnipod insulin management platform and other wearable drug-delivery technologies.

What you will do

• Lead monthly financial close activities for contract manufacturing, including inventory accruals, reconciliations, cost updates, and variance analysis.
• Prepare financial reporting on contract manufacturer and site performance, cost trends, inventory levels, and margin impacts.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs, analyze actual versus forecasted results, and support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting.
• Track manufacturing costs and monitor inventory valuation, controls, reporting, and inventory turns across contract manufacturer and internal facilities.
• Maintain SOX compliance, support internal and external audits, and ensure accounting processes reflect CMO contract terms and business agreements.
• Support CMO negotiations through financial modeling, cost benchmarking, scenario analysis, and identification of savings opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, or operations finance, preferably in manufacturing or contract manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain processes, cost structures, inventory accounting, and supply chain finance.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, communication, business partnering, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Acton, Massachusetts as part of a hybrid arrangement.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, or MBA.
• Experience with third-party manufacturers or outsourced production models.
• Familiarity with contract review, implementation, and financial risk assessment.
• Knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory reconciliation.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or similar data visualization and analysis tools.
