Plant Controller

Location: Alhambra, California, USA — onsite

Salary: $165,000–$180,000 per year

hirify.global is a semiconductor and electronics technology company operating a manufacturing site supported by plant-level finance and accounting.

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day financial support and operational analysis to the SPP Business Unit General Manager and plant operations team.
• Execute standard costing across materials, labor, subcontracting fees, and overhead.
• Prepare journal entries, reconcile inventory to the ledger and balance sheet, and support month-end and quarterly close activities.
• Plan physical inventories, reconcile inventory records to SAP, and investigate vendor and logistics discrepancies.
• Analyze gross margin, cost of sales, inventory trends, production yields, product and customer margins, and manufacturing variances.
• Maintain operational reporting, KPI tracking, forecasting support, and internal control documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, including strong cost accounting exposure.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, manufacturing cost structures, and inventory accounting.
• SAP experience required; proficiency with large ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and internal controls.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to operational audiences and work independently onsite.

Nice to have

• CPA or CMA certification.
• Semiconductor or high-mix electronics manufacturing experience.
• Experience with Adaptive Insights or comparable FP&A and forecasting tools.
