Consulting Director - PPI Workstream Lead - West Coast

Location: Virtual Office; candidates in the MST/PST time zone are preferred and regular travel to client sites is required.

Estimated salary: $117,600–$206,000 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Provide strategic guidance on reducing clinical variation and improving cost efficiency.
• Lead complex consulting projects and workstreams from planning through measurable delivery.
• Develop project plans aligned with scope, schedule, budget, and long-term sustainability.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, presentations, and executive-level discussions.
• Lead cross-functional teams and build trusted relationships with healthcare leaders, physicians, and C-suite executives.
• Support business development, thought leadership, and the creation of new service offerings.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of relevant experience in healthcare clinical and cost improvement initiatives or consulting.
• Experience leading large, complex projects with cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of Physician/Clinical Preference Items is preferred.
• Exceptional presentation, communication, relationship-building, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead change initiatives and work effectively with executives, physicians, and frontline healthcare staff.
• Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet client needs.

• Relevant degree.
• Background in clinical and cost improvement initiatives within a healthcare provider organization or consulting firm.
