Manufacturing Engineer (Electronics)

Salary: $83,800–$111,800 per year plus bonus

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing methods, operation sequences, process flows, and procedures for electronic subassemblies and final assemblies.
• Support New Product Introduction, Design for Manufacturability, Manufacturing Readiness Reviews, and the release of new products.
• Analyze labor standards, product flow, equipment, and workforce requirements to improve productivity and reduce unit costs.
• Create assembly, rework, and repair instructions, manufacturing standards, and technical training materials.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and evaluate new technologies for manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate engineering changes and support estimates for RFQs, RFPs, RMA, overhaul, and repair work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or industrial engineering.
• 2–4 years of manufacturing or industrial engineering experience.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing and an integration and test environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and specifications.
• Knowledge of electronic and mechanical assembly principles, mathematical concepts, and problem-solving in less standardized situations.
• Experience developing routers and work instructions.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile PLM, S/4HANA, FactoryLogix, or process simulation software.
• Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing or industrial engineering experience.
