Salary: $85,000–$115,000 USD per year

What you will do
- Design, implement, and improve assembly and test processes for electric aircraft manufacturing.
- Develop production readiness plans and evaluate the producibility of new designs through process and equipment capability studies.
- Create and maintain clear, up-to-date Manufacturing Process Instructions.
- Work with engineering to establish consistent, repeatable, and measurable processes using statistical verification and validation tools.
- Analyze production data, reduce inefficiencies, and lead continuous improvement and productivity initiatives.
- Assess certification risks and plan production capacity to meet output targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and 2–5+ years of experience with assembly and test processes.
- Strong problem-solving, statistical process control, design of experiments, and simulation skills.
- Knowledge of design for assembly, lean manufacturing, and capacity planning.
- Experience with product or equipment validation, including AQAP or PPAP.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, including GD&T.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically or internationally; demonstrated Lean Six Sigma experience.
Nice to have
- Aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing experience.
- Experience in rapid manufacturing growth or a startup environment.
- Knowledge of cellular manufacturing, flow, pull systems, line balancing, standard work, and time standards.
- Lean Manufacturing certification and PLEX ERP experience.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and flexibility to support production shifts.
