Location: Cheswick, Pennsylvania, United States. US citizenship is required due to DoD requirements, and the candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Salary: $76,200–$110,000 per year.

What you will do
- Design and implement systems, workflows, standard work, and process improvements that strengthen execution and accountability.
- Identify production constraints and remove shop-floor bottlenecks to improve process flow, throughput, lead time, and on-time delivery.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including kaizen events, value stream mapping, and process improvement workshops.
- Conduct cost estimates, engineering studies, feasibility analyses, research programs, and pilot projects.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, and Production teams to execute operational improvement initiatives.
- Monitor KPIs, identify performance trends, implement corrective actions, and support change adoption.
Requirements
- US citizenship required due to DoD requirements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline.
- At least five years of experience in manufacturing, operations, industrial engineering, or continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated success with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, capacity management, scheduling, workflow optimization, analytical problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Nice to have
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Experience with value stream mapping, kaizen administration, 5S, and other Lean tools.
- Experience implementing manufacturing operating systems or production control systems.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel or Power BI.
