Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: On-site in Fort Collins, Colorado, USA. The posting also requires an RN license in the state of Maryland.

Pay: $40.00–$45.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Administer methadone and other prescribed medications according to individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct health assessments, evaluate patient readiness for dosing, and provide clinical follow-up.
• Coordinate care with pharmacies, laboratories, physicians, counselors, community providers, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Maintain accurate dosing records, clinical documentation, and chart-monitoring systems.
• Manage medication inventory and prepare courtesy and vacation doses in accordance with DEA, state, and organizational standards.
• Build community partnerships, support chronic disease management and addiction recovery outreach, and mentor nursing staff.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license in the state of Maryland
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment involving prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and frequent computer use.
• Ability to use appropriate personal protective equipment and work with potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Nice to have

• Experience in chemical addiction or substance abuse treatment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Data entry and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and handle high-pressure situations.
• Knowledge of dosing equipment, centrifuges, test strips, and breathalyzers.
