What you will do

• Conduct individual alcohol and drug abuse counseling, group sessions, intake, and readmission services.
• Assess patients’ social, educational, economic, and vocational needs and develop treatment plans.
• Provide supportive follow-up counseling, crisis intervention, referrals, and care coordination with community providers.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records and inter-agency documentation in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Support program implementation, caseload management, staff training, and OBOT services.
• Participate in required meetings, conferences, training, and community activities.

Requirements

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in a human services-related field, as required by Kansas regulations.
• Current counseling credentials, such as tLAC, LAC, PLPC, LPC, LMAC, or LMSW.
• Knowledge of substance use disorders, treatment planning, human behavior, and social services.
• Ability to make sound decisions and handle confidential or sensitive matters appropriately.
• Ability to respond quickly to stressful situations and seek supervisory guidance when needed.
• Compliance with federal and state requirements for certification, licensure, and education.
