Lead Python Engineer / Developer - Associate (Python)

Location: Stamford, Connecticut, United States; office work is required Monday–Thursday, with remote work available on Friday.

Salary: $85,000–$110,000 annually, plus equity and an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Develop, test, maintain, and debug Python applications and scripts.
• Build REST APIs, web services, and data processing pipelines.
• Develop serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and manage file storage with AWS S3.
• Integrate third-party libraries and APIs.
• Write unit and automated tests to maintain quality and performance.
• Collaborate on code reviews, design discussions, Agile development, CI/CD, and Git-based version control.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of Python development experience, including web scraping tools such as Playwright or Selenium, REST APIs, JSON, and Git.
• Working knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL or MySQL, Linux/Unix environments, and Flask or Django.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, S3, and serverless application development.
• Exposure to pytest or unittest, Docker, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Azure or GCP.
