Software Engineer - Data (Python/AWS)

Salary: $135,000–$180,000 per year

What you will do

• Create and maintain data processing pipeline architecture.
• Build extraction, transformation, and loading infrastructure using SQL and big data technologies.
• Automate manual processes, optimize data delivery, and redesign infrastructure for scalability.
• Develop analytics tools and reports for customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other business metrics.
• Analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and apply statistical techniques.
• Support Executive, Engineering, and Operations stakeholders with data infrastructure, analysis, reporting, and security across multiple data centers and AWS regions.

Requirements

• MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of software engineering experience.
• Expertise in Python, SQL, microservices, databases, and data pipelines.
• Experience with data modeling, database design and development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Experience with large-scale data processing technologies such as MapReduce, Spark, or Kafka.
• Experience with AWS core technologies including S3, EC2, and RDS, hirify.global strong software design, development, communication, and reporting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with autonomous vehicles or robotics.
