Senior Data Scientist, Gen AI Delivery (Generative AI)

Location: Based out of offices in Chicago or Peoria, Illinois; Broomfield, Colorado; or Irving, Texas, United States.

Salary: $112,710–$183,140 per year.

What you will do

• Fine-tune, implement, develop, and optimize models for generative AI solutions.
• Research current AI and machine learning algorithms and integrate suitable approaches into projects.
• Run experiments to evaluate model performance and iterate on models and solution designs.
• Research and implement agentic generative AI solutions and workflows.
• Evaluate LLM-generated content using automated metrics and human-in-the-loop methodologies.
• Guide and mentor junior data scientists and other team members.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in data science and machine learning.
• At least 1 year of professional experience working with generative AI and large language models.
• Advanced Python skills and experience with deep learning frameworks for AI research and prototyping.
• Knowledge of LLMs, RAG, autonomous systems, computer vision, speech, and agentic AI architectures.
• Experience with AI observability tools such as LangSmith, Langfuse, or AgentOps.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; a graduate degree in a quantitative field is considered for top candidates.

Nice to have

• Experience leading and technically mentoring a team of data scientists.
• Experience designing LLM experiments and incorporating human-in-the-loop reviews and safety guardrails.
